Those who know me a little know at least one thing about me: my passion for the mountains.
The hugeness and force of the mountain reminds us constantly how small we are in this world and yet we manage to work our way up to the top, putting the right dose of effort and patience in it.
I married Carlo last September. He is- how could it be otherwise -as passionate about nature and the mountains as I am. We decided some time ago to support SOS Villages d'Enfants together. And when we heard about the Kilimanjaro Challenge it was obvious that this was THE thing for us to do.

The fund raising allows us to help the poorest of the poorest. But it is more than just raising and donating money: we engage, we will meet the children in the Arusha SOS School and they will realize that there are people in this part of the world who care about them. We will remind them that they are not forgotten.
But on the top it will be an extraordinary experience for us who go on this expedition with a group of like minded people who want to make a difference, who accept the challenge of leaving their comfort behind realizing that a different world exists – different from our life that is so much dominated by artificial needs – and feeling a bit closer to the children in Arusha.
